Description:

Highway improvements to the M61 Junction 4 roundabout and existing A6 roundabout to improve traffic movements to the large new development. Following on from this works included the surfacing of the new trunk road through the new industrial estate along with associated arterial routes and footpaths.

Description:

The works involved the upgrade of an existing very busy 5 arm roundabout on the outskirts of Northwich to a new gyratory system, utilising the existing highway including carriageways, footways and verge areas and the roundabout to provide additional running lanes, access roads and parking areas. The works consisted of carriageway construction and surfacing works including the laying of a new HRA and pre-coated chippings surface course to the gyratory.
